WHAT'S HAPPENING

The 101-7 Project – Maureen’s Haven

The 101-7 Project is looking for people that are making a difference in the community. If you know an individual or group that has a great story to share, let us know on our social media pages at BeachRadio1017 using #1017Project or send us an email here. We could invite them on the air to share their story and hangout in the studio!

This month, we’re honoring Maryann Gensler, Executive Director of Maureen’s Haven, working to shelter and protect the East End’s homeless. Listen below to Justin’s conversation with her about the organization, some of the surprising statistics, and their funding raising event in July at Docker’s Waterside!

Past 101-7 Project honorees include New Hope Rising, Michelle Wilkes of Safe in Sag Harbor, and Ryan Ledda.

The 101-7 Project is made possible by Bridgehampton National Bank, with special help from American Pie Pizzeria.
